EKI idealised Pine Island Glacier example
Software example demonstrating how to install and use EnsembleKalmanProcesses together with the model-ensembler for an idealised Pine Island Glacier experiment. The example supports the OCEAN ICE feasibility study on Ensemble Kalman Inversion for initialising coupled ice-sheet–ocean models and is archived as software on Zenodo with a corresponding GitHub release.

This software example was developed in support of OCEAN ICE Deliverable D3.4, which assesses the feasibility of using Ensemble Kalman Inversion to initialise coupled ice-sheet–ocean models. The archived release demonstrates the installation and use of EnsembleKalmanProcesses alongside the model-ensembler using an idealised Pine Island Glacier configuration. The software is maintained in the WAVI-ice-sheet-model GitHub organisation and version v1.0.0 is archived on Zenodo. Deliverable D3.4 provides the scientific context, method description and illustrative results associated with this approach.
