Within OCEAN ICE Deliverable D3.3, Úa was used with state-of-the-art data assimilation constrained by ITS_LIVE surface-velocity observations to estimate basal sliding, basal stresses and basal meltwater production across the Antarctic Ice Sheet. The OCEAN ICE work also included the development and application of a new subglacial water-routing algorithm designed to avoid mesh-resolution dependency and the need for a separate depression-filling procedure. Úa itself predates OCEAN ICE; this metadata record documents the software resource and the OCEAN ICE-specific developments and applications described in Deliverable D3.3.
