A user of Argo data is expected to read and understand this manual and the documentation about the data contained in the "attributes" of the NetCDF data files, as these contain essential information about data quality and accuracy. A user should acknowledge use of Argo data in all publications and products where such data are used, preferably with the DOI and following standard sentence: "These data were collected and made freely available by the international Argo project and the national programs that contribute to it."

This dataset was produced within the OCEAN ICE project (Ocean-Cryosphere Exchanges in Antarctica: Impacts on Climate and the Earth System), funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe Grant Agreement No. 101060452.

The dataset consists of in situ oceanographic observations collected by six Argo profiling floats deployed within the OCEAN ICE project in the Bransfield Strait in March 2025. The observations are transmitted through the Argo programme, quality controlled according to Argo procedures and distributed through the international Argo data system. Individual float information and trajectories are available through Euro-Argo Fleet Monitoring. The deployment and delivery of the observations to the Argo community are documented in OCEAN ICE Milestone MS29.
