The climatology was generated by objectively mapping the raw temperature and salinity profiles assembled in the OCEAN ICE Southern Ocean hydrographic profile compilation (DOI 10.17882/99787). The product contains three-dimensional objectively analysed Conservative Temperature and Absolute Salinity fields for the Southern Ocean, accompanied by modified standard errors (MSE) that quantify interpolation uncertainty.
